Dracaena aurea
A small evergreen tree endemic to Kauaʻi, Hawaii, in the Asparagaceae family and genus Dracaena, inhabiting coastal and mixed mesic forests at 120–1,070 m with a gray, barkless trunk and sword-shaped leaves up to 51 cm long, and listed by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service in Plantae (TSN 512501).

Summary
A small evergreen tree native to Kauaʻi in the Hawaiian Islands, it inhabits coastal mesic and mixed mesic forests in the wet tropical biome at elevations of 120–1,070 m, typically reaching 4.6–7.6 m tall (sometimes up to 12 m) with a gray, straight trunk 0.3–0.9 m in diameter and sword-shaped leaves 20–51 cm long and 1–3 cm wide, commonly known as golden hala pepe.
Endangered (IUCN 3.1), and its taxonomic synonyms include Chrysodracon aurea, Pleomele aurea, and Draco aurea.
