Solidago vaseyi, commonly known as Vasey’s Goldenrod or Atlantic Goldenrod, is a perennial forb native to the Carolinas and Georgia. It grows from a basal rosette of ovate, sharply toothed basal leaves on winged stalks, with basal leaves usually larger and persisting while middle and upper stem leaves become smaller and less petiolate. Its habitat includes forests, woodlands, and grassy balds; it is common overall, though uncommon in the Georgia Coastal Plain. In some references, Solidago vaseyi is synonymous with Solidago arguta var. caroliniana.

Flowering occurs in summer to fall, with yellow ray and disc florets and an inferior ovary. Flower heads are arranged in paniculiform inflorescences with heads borne secund on the branches.
